Wreck Diver Specialty
The lure of exploring sunken vessels is something most divers cannot resist. Sunken wrecks have a mystique all of their own engendering a sense of history as well as being a haven for many marine creatures. The PADI Wreck Diver
Specialty course introduces you to wreck diving and helps you develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and fun wreck diving. To enrol in a Wreck Diver course you must be over 15 years of age, be certified as a PADI Adventure Diver (or equivalent) and fill in and sign a medical statement.
The course is structured in two parts.
You receive a manual and video which you study at your leisure before spending an evening being taught wreck diving theory in the classroom. You then need to complete four open water dives. This is done over two days at a suitable site.
The cost for the course includes manual, video, emblem (given upon certification), tuition, equipment, and certification.
