Rescue Diver Course
Would you like to expand your diving knowledge and skills beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. On the PADI Rescue Diver Course you will learn to recognize and prevent potential diving accidents and how to handle them if they occur. To enrol in a Rescue Diver Course you must be over 12 years of age, be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent), have completed a sanctioned CPR and First Aid program within the last 24 months and fill in and sign a medical statement.
The course is structured in two parts.
You receive a manual and a copy of a rescue diver DVD which you study before attending a classroom session where we will review rescue theory.
You then need to complete the open water training sessions. These can be done at a local dive site during the week or over a weekend.
The cost for the course includes manual, rescue slate, tuition, equipment and certification.
